BUP Career Club proudly unveils Make It Count (MIC) 2026, the 4th edition of its flagship national public speaking competition. Bringing together university and college students from across Bangladesh, MIC returns with a stage for bold perspectives, compelling stories, and arguments that give people a reason to think again.
With “Freedom of Speech” as its theme, MIC 2026 celebrates the courage to question, express, and stand behind an idea while engaging with perspectives different from your own. In Bangladesh, where speaking up carries a powerful historical significance, the competition invites students to consider what they want to say and why it matters. Across three progressive stages, participants will demonstrate their ability to think critically, persuade, and connect with an audience.
Theme: Freedom of Speech
The competition begins with your voice. Participants will submit a short video responding to an assigned topic, giving them the opportunity to showcase their perspective, delivery, and speaking ability.
Selected participants will present arguments for and against a given motion. The round will test their critical thinking, argumentation, and composure under pressure.
From ideas to arguments to the final stage, it all comes down to this. Top performers from the previous round will take the stage to compete for the title, bringing the competition to a close with a celebration of outstanding public speaking.
