Business Operations
MetLife Bangladesh provides a broad range of life-insurance and financial-protection products distributed through one of the strongest sales networks in the country. It offers financial protection through a mix of traditional and innovative products, including individual and group life insurance policies, pension schemes, children's education policies, Shariah-based (Takaful) saving schemes, and accident and health products designed to suit people of different age groups, professions, and income ranges. Its distribution rests on an extensive agency structure; MetLife in Bangladesh operates through nine sales offices, 232 agencies, 65 unit offices, and a large base of financial associates serving around one million customers.
Operationally, the company is defined by its claims-settlement strength and its structured agency career model.
