DotBirth is a Dhaka-based creative solutions company, founded and led by some of Bangladesh's most decorated advertising veterans. It describes itself as a creative solutions company aiming to build an empathetic and inspiring culture where people bring their most creative selves to provide innovative, effective, integrated brand marketing and communication solutions that help clients grow their brands and businesses. The agency is relatively young but ambitious; DotBirth began its journey on 2 May 2023 with the purpose of applying creativity to create cultural value, aiming to drive the creative economy of the country and build brands with deeper connections through consultancy, campaigns, solutions, and experiential platforms, while also creating an institution to grow and nurture future creative thinkers.
Its leadership pedigree is a defining feature. DotBirth was co-founded in 2023 by Syed Gousul Alam Shaon and Syed Mohammed Tariq alongside Transcom, bringing together a seasoned team of around 100 professionals, with Gousul Alam Shaon as Managing Director, Syed Mohammed Tariq as Chief Operating Officer, and Jaiyyanul Huq as Chief Creative Officer. Its managing director is one of the country's most awarded creative leaders; Syed Gousul Alam Shaon led Grey Dhaka from 2007 to 2013 to win "Agency of the Year" nine times, and under his lead Grey Dhaka became the only creative agency to win the prestigious APAC Effie and Spikes Asia awards, also earning Bangladesh's first-ever Cannes Lions shortlist. The agency is headquartered at Express House, Banani Model Town, Dhaka, and operates in advertising services with a team of 51 to 200 employees.
Business Operations
DotBirth operates as a full-service creative and brand-communications agency. It builds brands with deeper connections, aiming to foster brands through consultancy, campaigns, developing solutions, activating experiential platforms, and collaborating with other creative thinkers, while simultaneously creating an institution to grow and nurture future creative thinkers. Its client roster spans major national and multinational brands; the agency's published work includes campaigns for foodpanda Bangladesh as well as Xiaomi Bangladesh and Airtel Bangladesh.
The agency has also been behind some of the country's most high-profile cultural productions. DotBirth Limited served as the creative agency supporting the production of Coke Studio Bangla Season 3, with its managing director Syed Gousul Alam Shaon also serving as Executive Director of Coke Studio Bangla, a project celebrated for blending music with Bangladeshi cultural heritage. This work reflects the agency's founding ambition; DotBirth was created to fill a void and create space for new opportunities, turning challenges into opportunity under the guidance of veteran creative minds of the industry.

Dot Birth Ltd. is a key corporate partner for the BUP Career Club (BUPCC), especially with its support in 9th flagship career festival, BUP Career and Education Fest 2026. As a partner, the company aligns its objectives with BUPCC’s mission to bridge the gap between the university and the corporate world. The company provides a list of facilities for students and fresh graduates. It starts from the direct engagements with talented graduates from BUP for roles in servicing, creative and strategy departments in the recruitment process.
